Massey Ferguson Details High-Clearance Benefits Of MF4610M HC Utility Tractor
In line with harvest, Massey Ferguson recently detailed the high-clearance advantages of its MF4610M HC (High Clearance) utility tractor for farmers who require such abilities, including when working with specialty crops. Massey Ferguson introduced the MF4610M HC in February, aiming it at specialty crop growers in Central California and other North American regions where such crops are grown. Massey Ferguson is a brand of AGCO Corporation, a global designer, manufacturer, and provider of various ag products and solutions that also owns the Challenger, Fendt, and Valtra brands.

Two different tire sizes are available with the MF4610M HC, enabling the tractor to provide drawbar clearance heights of either 25 or 27 inches. Massey Ferguson can also configure the tractor with either 60-inch or 80-inch track widths and with up to seven track settings via the use of axle extension.
Massey Ferguson tactical marketing manager Warren Morris stated that the high-clearance abilities of the MF4610M HC allow specialty crop growers to care for crops without damaging them. Those crops can include berries, broccoli, potatoes, and tobacco.
Massey Ferguson launched the original 4600M Series in 2015 with utility workloads in mind, including loader work, hay production, and mowing. That series replaced the company’s previous 4600 Series. The 4600M series includes the MF4607M, MF4609M, and MF4610M models, with engines ranging from 70 to 99 HP and from PTO HP ranging from 56 to 80 HP.
Both the MF4610M and the MF4610M HC provide a Category II hitch, 540/540E PTO, and up to three rear hydraulic remotes. The MF4610M HC provides an 18x18 Power Shuttle transmission with creeper standard compared to the MF4610M’s 12x12 2-range standard offering or 18x18 3-range transmission with optional creeper gear. Elsewhere, the MF4610M HC provides a 104-inch wheel base compared to the MF4610M’s 89.9-inch wheel base.
