Case IH Adds Miller Nitro 7370 & 7410 Application Sprayers To Application Products Lineup
Case IH has expanded its application equipment lineup with two new front-boom Miller Nitro series sprayers that a Case IH representative says meet an existing need in the market for late-season fertility and crop-protection applications. Providing more than 6 feet (1.8 meters) of ground clearance to perform late-season spraying, Case IH bills the new Miller Nitro 7370 and 7410 as providing operators efficient, high-clearance, high-capacity, long-boom sprayer options able to increase productivity through the entire season.
The Big Three
Case IH is offering various power, comfort, and precision technology capabilities with the new sprayers as standard and optional offerings. Both sprayers include an 8.7-liter, Tier 4B emissions engine from FPT, although the Nitro 7370 version offers 328 horsepower while the 7410 offers 382 horsepower.
Comfort, meanwhile, comes via a new 121.15 cubic-foot (3.43 cubic meters) “ultra-quiet” cab created specifically for Nitro sprayers that features a full-height windshield, air-suspension ride, and pressurized charcoal filtration system. In addition to isolating noise behind the tank, the cab’s design “goes a long way in enhancing productivity and application efficiency,” says Mark Burns, Case IH application equipment marketing manager.
Monitoring Abilities
The 7370 and 7410 both feature a spray information monitor bar integrated in the cab’s roof panel for monitoring rinse and product tank sump operations, the master spray switch and boom section on/off status, foam market operation, auto-steering, and product pump operation. A monitor for overseeing engine speed, coolant temperature, HVAC information, system alarms, and other basic functions is also included, as is a chassis monitor situated in the driver’s armrest to monitor and adjust heating/cooling, electrical, camera, and other systems.
Elsewhere, operators have a choice between the Miller SprayView IV or Raven Viper 4+ displays to access information specific to spray function, section control, mapping, auto-steer, boom leveling, and Miller’s IntelliSpray technology.
Case IH’s application equipment family also includes Patriot Series sprayers, Titan Series floaters, Nutri-Placer pull-type fertilizer applicators, and the Trident 5550 combination applicator.
