Case IH Adds Three New Utility A Models To Farmall Tractor Family

Ag equipment manufacturer Case IH has extended its entry-level Farmall tractor family with three new utility A models. With the new 55A, 65A, and 75A tractors, the Farmall lineup now includes cab and non-cab options. In addition to the A utility series, Case IH produces compact A, compact C, compact C CVT, utility C, utility U, 100A, N, and V series Farmall models. The company also produces the Steiger, Magnum, Optum, Puma, and Maxxum tractor families.

Cab Or Non-Cab?

The utility A models now give the Farmall lineup models with engine options ranging from 35 to 140 horsepower. Denny Stroo, Case IH Farmall tractor marketing manager, says the additions build on an existing Farmall legacy of helping farmers meet demands around the farm. “Farmall utility tractors are dependable workhorses suitable for a multitude of uses,” Stroo says, pointing out that Case IH has sold 2 million-plus Farmall tractors globally.

With the new utility A models, Farmall customers can now take advantage of such enhanced cab-comfort features as a climate-controlled environment, contoured mechanical seat, tilt steering wheel, and optional air ride feature. The tractors also add new wraparound lighting and movable, dynamic fenders that Case says improve turning radius and enhance maneuverability. Telescopic stabilizers and optional flex-end lower links, meanwhile, help provide stability for implements and make connecting them easier.

Rugged & Ready

According to Case IH, the utility A series models will include a simple, straightforward 8F x 8R mechanical transmission or optional 12F x 12R power shuttle that delivers “simplicity and efficiency to loader work.” The models also feature a Case IH FPT electronically controlled 2.9-liter engine with three cylinders and tunnel-block design that Case IH says ensures “ruggedness and easy maintenance.”
