Vermeer Reveals New TM610, TM710 & TM810 Trailed Mowers
Vermeer recently unveiled its new lineup of 10-series small trailed disc mowers, which includes the TM610, TM710, and TM810. All of these models are geared toward hay and forage producers and sport a rubber torsion suspension designed to produce a consistent cut over various types of terrain. Operator-friendly features include a simple three-point connection with the hitch, PTO (power take-off), and hydraulics; the Quick-Clip blade retention system for changing blades; and the ability to make suspension adjustments on the fly without the need for tools.
“Power & Performance,” But Not Too Big
“The 10-series trailed mowers are for operators who want the power and performance of modern trailed mowers, but don’t quite need the size, mowing capacity and horsepower requirements of larger models,” says Josh Vrieze, product manager at Vermeer. “Hay producers deal with so many different crops and field conditions, and these trailed mowers can give them enough mowing capacity to get the job done. The features on 10-series trailed mowers are designed to make the mowing process more efficient.”
Wide Range Of Options
Vermeer’s line of 10-series disc mowers provide operators with a choice of cutting widths and tractor horsepower requirements. The TM610 offers an 8.1-foot (2.5-meter) cutting width and requires a tractor with a minimum of 50 horsepower; the TM710 has a cutting width of 9.2 feet (2.8 meters) and requires a 55-horsepower tractor; and the TM810 has a 10.5-foot (3.2-meter) cutting width and needs a 60-horsepower tractor.
In addition to the newer models, Vermerr also offers the TM1210 with a 17.7-foot (5.4-meter) cutting width and 95-horsepower tractor requirement, and the TM1410 with a 20.8-foot (6.3-meter) cutting width and 105-horsepower tractor requirement.
