Ferris Introduces New ISX 800 Zero-Turn Lawn Mower At GIE+EXPO
Ferris, a Briggs & Stratton Corporation brand, recently unveiled its new ISX 800 zero-turn lawn mower at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO), which ran from October 17 through the 19th in Louisville, Kentucky. A major highlight of the new mower is its ForeFront Suspension System that Ferris says “utilizes four upper and lower control rods that ensure the front caster bearing remains vertical through the full range of travel.” That extra level of control adds up to a more consistent cut and a more comfortable ride for the operator.
“The ForeFront Suspension System proves that we’re not done taking care of our operators who ride every day,” says Dan Roche, marketing director, commercial products at Briggs & Stratton. “They expect excellent results from their equipment, and we’re providing them with advanced technology you would find on an ATV.”
Other Standout Features
The Ferris ISX 800 is available with either a Briggs & Stratton Commercial Series engine or Kawasaki engine and a 61-inch or 52-inch iCD cutting deck. It can mow at speeds of up to 10 miles per hour and features a Hydro-Gear ZT-3400 transaxle, a mid-back seat, and front casters and rear tires that are larger than Ferris' IS 700Z.
Impressive Warranty Coverage
The ISX 800 takes advantage of a two-belt iCD cutting system, which is backed up by a three-year limited warranty. Other protections include a five-year warranty for coil-over shocks and all other components of the suspension and Ferris’ 2+2 Year Limited Warranty that covers the mower for four total years or 500 hours. However, the warranty also covers the ISX 800 for unlimited hours for the first two years of the agreement.
