Kubota Introduces Three New Z700 Series EFI Zero-Turn Mowers
Kubota Tractor Corporation recently announced three new additions to its Z700 lineup of gas-powered zero-turn mowers, all of which feature Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology. The announcement was made at the 2018 Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO), which took place October 14-17 in Louisville, Kentucky. Dealers will start receiving the new mowers beginning this month.
“We introduced the Z700 Series five years ago and it has become a staple in many landscape fleets across the country,” says Tom Vachal, senior turf product manager at Kubota. “We are very excited to add three new EFI models to that line today, adding exceptional performance for challenging conditions.”
Three’s Company
The new zero-turn offerings include the Z751KWi with a 48-inch (122-centimeter) deck, Z781KWi with a 54-inch (137-centimeter) deck, and the Z781KWTi with a 60-inch (152-centimeter) deck. All three models come with Kawasaki EFI engines “high pressure fuel delivery for optimum power and fuel efficiency,” according to the manufacturer They also feature 3.5-inch LCD engine monitors, precision engine management controls, suspension seats, 24-inch low profile tires, 6.5-inch no-flat caster tires, waterproof and dustproof safety switches, and 12-volt outlets for charging or powering devices.
Growing Lineup
The Z700 Series of zero-turn mowers now consists of nine total models. In addition to the three new EFI mowers, the lineup includes the Z723KH-48, Z724KH-54, Z725KH-60, Z724XKW-48, Z724XKW-54, and Z726XKW-60. These models are available with either 48-, 54-, or 60-inch decks and the option of Kawasaki FX or Kohler Command PRO engines. Kubota also offers several attachments for the Z700 Series, like grass catchers, discharge chutes, mulching blades, LED light kits, and more.
