Case IH Announces New Options For Patriot 4440 Self-Propelled Sprayer

Case IH recently introduced two new boom styles and a new tank option for its Patriot 4440 sprayer. The increased tank size, longer booms, and reduced overall weight of the sprayer allow operators to make the most of application times, the company says.

    More Acres Per Pass

“We consistently hear how producers are looking for ways to cover more acres per pass,” says Mark Burns, Case IH application equipment marketing manager. “When application windows narrow and every minute in the field counts, these new designs give operators the capacity they need to achieve high-efficiency application.”

The new, wider boom options are made of durable, lightweight aluminum and come in 132- and 135-foot sizes. They are designed to help operators cover more acres per pass and the company says when they are equipped with AIM Command FLEX spray technology, the system will deliver the right rate and droplet size across not only the entire boom but the entire field. Case says the Patriot 4440’s 1,600-gallon tank option also adds to the efficiency gains by reducing trips to and from the field.

    About the Patriot 4440

The Patriot 4440 sprayer line is available with a variety of options. The line now has five width choices for factory-installed booms, 60/90-foot (18.3/27.4-meter), 60/100 (18.3/30.5), 60/90/120 (18.3/27.4/36.5), 66/132 (20.1/40.2), 69/135 (21/41.1). A 335-horsepower (250-kilowatt) engine powers the sprayer, which also features a 140-gallon (530-liter) fuel tank and either a 1,200- or 1,600-gallon (4,542- or 6,057-liter) product tank to allow operators to stay out in the field longer and finish the job faster.
