Fendt’s 300 Vario Gen4 tractors debuted across North America this August with the advent of new 311, 312, 313, and 314 models. The series was recently included in the AE50 Awards for 2022, which are handed out by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers in recognition of advanced technology and design in the marketplace. Fendt says that many of the technological tools of its larger, higher-horsepower tractors are also found in its 300 Vario-series tractors, and that cutting-edge tech was instrumental in bringing home the award.

    Smart Power & Features

Fendt equips its Vario 311, 312, 313, and 314 tractors with 4.4-liter AGCO Power engines ranging from 100 to 132 horsepower (74.6 to 98.4 kilowatts). The 314 also receives an added 10-HP (7.5-kW) boost from Fendt’s DynamicPerformance technology when it detects “excessive auxiliary consumer demand,” Fendt says. All Vario 300 Gen4 models are compatible with the manufacturer’s Cargo or CargoProfi front loaders. With CargoProfi, the Vario 300’s smart technology weighs loader contents, monitors top and bottom lift height and tipping angles, and has a memory function that can save frequently used loader positions.

    Maximize Productivity

The Vario 300 Gen4 tractors are available with more than 200 options and three trim packages (Power, Profi, and Profi+). Many of the amenities optimize operator comfort and ease of use. Highlights include a multifunction joystick for hydraulic, loader, and ISOBUS functions and a jog-dial controller for intuitive, ergonomic command of the tractors’ display and various control settings. The tractor’s FendtONE platform works with precision farming applications, such as the Fendt Guide Sync tracking tool, Fendt Task Manager, and tools that use the agrirouter data exchange platform.
