Case IH recently announced a raft of new products and upgrades to its line of hay equipment, including updates to its standard round balers as well as an all-new Professional series. The new RB6 HD Pro series balers, designed for higher annual bale counts, were built specifically for wet and heavy silage. The Case IH RB565 Premium round baler also received an upgrade with a new heavy-duty drive option featuring larger chains and sprockets, a larger gear box, and a higher-capacity clutch. The RB456A Standard has also been updated with a 30% wider pickup, an improved wrapping system, and the addition of a stuffer feeding system.

    Welcome Additions

“These welcome additions to our industry-leading hay equipment portfolio further bolster a suite of performance-enhancing tools growers know and love,” says Brian Spencer, Case IH hay and forage equipment marketing manager. “With new options available to them, producers will experience even higher-quality hay and overall productivity improvements.”

About The RB6 HD Pro Series

The new round baler series has a heavy-duty drive system for increased durability and an extra-wide 82-inch (208-centimeter) tine-to-tine five-bar pickup for greater productivity. Operators can set core and outer densities according to the storage needs of the bale. The RB6 HD Pro series has an annual bale count life cycle in excess of 5,000 bales. The RB6 series produces bales that are 36 to 65 in. (91 to 165 cm) in diameter and 47.25 in. (120 cm) wide.
