Toro Fields New Z Master 2000 & Battery-Powered Z Master 2000 Revolution At Equip Expo
Toro recently introduced a pair of professional zero-turn mowers for landscape contractors. The manufacturer put the new internal combustion Z Master 2000 and battery-powered Z Master 2000 Revolution models under the spotlight at the Equip Exposition 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky.
“Our new Z Master 2000 in both gas and battery options offers an impressive, high-quality cut,” says Chris Vogtman, director of marketing at Toro. “The new equipment comes Horizon360-capable, which is a real advantage for creating business efficiencies and managing fleets.”
Z Master 2000 & Z Master 2000 Revolution
Toro engineered its Z Master 2000 to be a tough, durable mower inspired by the Z Master 4000. It has a tubular frame and an I-beam front end cushioned by Toro’s MyRIDE suspension. The mower’s Turbo Force deck is constructed of 7-gauge, high-strength steel with a tensile strength of 50-kilopounds per square inch (ksi), or 50,000 pounds per square inch (psi). The Z Master 2000 can carry tools and optional accessories. It also features a new 2-inch (51-millimeter) hitch receiver.
The Z Master 2000 Revolution is a battery-electric version of the Z Master 2000. Its heart is Toro’s HyperCell Power System, which supplies “all-day” power according to the manufacturer. Besides ample run times, the HyperCell is quick to recharge and runs cooler than others. It also provides quiet operation with no fumes.
The operator can adjust the power of the 2000 Revolution to suit the demands of the mowing conditions. Patent-pending control software smooths out the mower’s operation, Toro says. The operator platform is suspended for comfort, and the driver can adjust ride settings to fit personal preferences.
Horizon360
Both of the new mowers are compatible with Toro’s Horizon360 business software suite for professional landscape contractors. Horizon360 provides business management tools such as crew scheduling, customer communications, billing, online payments, productivity tracking, and much more. Its phone app has dual language support.
Toro Revolution Series models can also use a new feature called Horizon360 Connect. This free-to-use system offers equipment tracking, enhanced fleet management, and maintenance management, among other things.
