Fendt 200 Vario Series Makes North American Debut At 2023 World Ag Expo
Agco recently announced that its Fendt brand’s 200 Vario Series tractors will make their North American debut at the 2023 World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. The 200 Vario Series is Fendt’s smallest tractor and comes in standard and specialty crop variants. The tractors will be available to order through Fendt dealerships for arrival in 2024.
“Agco is excited to introduce the Fendt 200 Vario series to North America and offer compact, lightweight, and agile tractors that meet farmers’ rigorous demands,” says David Soliday, senior tactical marketing manager for Fendt tractors. “We are also proud to offer specialty variants to farmers looking to realize the versatile benefits of the Fendt 200 Vario series for their vineyards, orchards, and other specialty crops.”
Small In Stature, Tall In Power
The Fendt 200 Vario series has three models ranging from 94 to 114 horsepower (69 to 84 kilowatts) and comes in a standard configuration as well as in three specialty crop variants. The tractors are powered by a 3.3-liter Agco Power engine and the Fendt Vario continuously variable transmission (CVT). The 200 Vario has a contoured frame for increased maneuverability and a low weight-to-power ratio and multiple tire options to minimize soil compaction, which can reduce crop yield. The tractor’s three-in-one suspension provides a self-leveling, lockable front axle suspension, mechanical cab suspension, and active shock loading stabilization, which works with Fendt Reaction steering to ensure safe, straight driving and a comfortable ride.
Deluxe Accommodations
The spacious cab has a refrigerated storage compartment, air conditioning, and ventilation for superb airflow through the steering tower and the cab roof. The 200 Vario is equipped with the FendtONE operating system, which includes a workstation with a multifunction joystick, multiple hydraulic controls, and the option to add a 12-inch terminal.
