Kubota Announces New Compact Tractors At National Farm Machinery Show
Kubota Tractor Corporation recently unveiled two new additions to the LX20 Series compact tractors, the LX3520 and the LX4020, at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The new models have horsepower ratings of 35 and 40 (26 and 30 kilowatts) and a new Special Utility model cab option with the LX3520. The new tractors will be available nationwide later this spring.
Quality & Versatility
“Kubota’s compact tractor line is built with outstanding quality, performance, comfort, and durability in mind, and these latest model additions are no exception,” says Beau Woodbury, Kubota LX, L Series product manager. “With each new release and update, the LX20 and L02 Series tractors continue to make incremental improvements, while maintaining their market position and outstanding user experience. Their versatility makes them invaluable property maintenance tools for easy material handling and transport, due to implements that can be added.”
The LX20 Series is designed for residential and commercial use; the LX3520 and LX4020 have updated operator stations with more user-friendly controls. Both models are available with either a factory-installed cab or rollover protection system (ROPS) configuration. The redesigned transmission reduces HST noise and the auto throttle simplifies operator workloads. Maneuverability is improved with a wider front axle and a performance-matched front loader. The LX20 Series also has a dual engine memory switch that allows the operator to preset their rpm to have the engine match the set speed with the push of a button. New mower decks are available for both tractors with integrated wash port attachments for easy under-deck cleaning.
First LX20 Narrow
This also marks the first time Kubota has introduced a narrow model to the lineup. The LX3520 Narrow has a total width of 39.4 inches (1,000 millimeters), making it optimal for spraying, mowing, and towing between tight rows in vineyards, orchards, and nurseries. The narrow tractor is 94.5 in. (2,400 mm) tall, or 60.8 inches if the ROPS is folded, and has a mechanical link that automatically raises the three-point hitch when a load is added during towing. The new tractors are fitted with Trac Loader II tires made by Titan International. The tires are designed for improved cleanout in snow, ice, turf, or mud for greater versatility.
