New Holland Debuts 2025 T9 SmartTrax With PLM Intelligence At National Farm Machinery Show
New Holland recently launched the T9 SmartTrax with PLM Intelligence at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The SmartTrax system has oscillating roller wheels, automatic self-tensioning tracks, and enhanced serviceability. The tractor will be available in the North American and Australian markets for the 2025 model year.
“The T9 SmartTrax with PLM Intelligence reflects our legacy for pushing boundaries,” says New Holland Global Large Tractor Product Manager Sean Dorosz. “It’s more than an enhanced track system. It’s a commitment to farmers built on the basis of innovation, efficiency, capability and versatility.”
About The New Holland T9 SmartTrax
New Holland says the oscillating roller wheels and vibration-dampening mount suspension of the SmartTrax track system prevent uneven wear while moving between fields and provide a smoother ride for the operator. The automatic track tensioning system and clear track system hubcaps ease maintenance.
The T9 SmartTrax comes in five models with a horsepower range of 475 to 645 (354 to 480 kilowatts). They have a top road speed of 25 mph (40 km/h) for quicker transportation between fields. The T9 SmartTrax offers multiple belt options, including 30- and 36-inch (762- and 914-millimeter) width choices and three belt brands. 2025 T9 SmartTrax tractors also have a 47% increase in fuel capacity to 455 gallons (1,700 liters) for more uninterrupted time in the field.
The tractor also has swinging cab entry steps that automatically pivot with the tractor’s articulation to keep the ladder from extending beyond the tracks and making it easier to enter and exit the cab.
Be More Productive
“Productivity is central to the T9 SmartTrax,” Dorosz says. “With this system, we’re putting in place unmatched track performance that’s cutting down on non-productive tractor time, like field-to-field movement and breaks to refuel, to maximize operator efficiency in the field and minimize time spent on the job.”
