John Deere’s Powerful 9RX Tractors For 2025 Are Made ‘For Big Jobs & Big Acreage’
John Deere recently expanded its 9RX tractor series with three new models at the Commodity Classic show in Houston, Texas. The new lineup includes the 9RX 710, 770, and 830—the most powerful tractors the company has built to date. These models bring more pulling power, the latest precision ag capabilities, and improved operator comfort.
About The John Deere 9RX
The new 9RX tractors are powered by the Stage V-compliant 18-liter JD18X engines. These deliver up to 913 maximum horsepower (680 kilowatts) and up to 3,123 pounds-foot (4,234 newton-meters) of torque on the top model.
The tractors feature a new e21 PowerShift transmission with Efficiency Manager. It offers close spacing between its 21 gears to enable operators to set precisely the right speed for their task.
The new undercarriages have 47.2-inch (1,200-millimeter) drive sprockets with a wrapping angle of 110 degrees and 7.5 drive lug engagement. Owners can access the daily maintenance points from the ground or the new service catwalk. The hydraulic oil service interval is extended to 4,000 hours to increase uptime.
The optional triple hydraulic pump has a maximum flow rate of 168 gallons (636 liters) per minute. The hydraulic Intelligent Power Management can provide an additional 40 HP to power the largest hydraulic implements.
Comfort In The Cab
The spacious CommandView 4 Plus cab offers enhanced visibility. The cab also has a new suspension system and an isolated subframe to reduce noise and vibration. ActiveCommand Steering automatically adjusts steering effort according to the tractor’s ground speed. The tractors have 3.5 steering wheel turns from lock to lock in the field and 5 lock-to-lock turns on the road.
Work With Precision
The 9RX tractors are packed with advanced technology features, including the 12.8-inch high-definition G5Plus CommandCenter, Variable Rate Control, 1-Click-Go-AutoSetup, Section Control, and full AEF ISOBUS compatibility. The tractors also have JDLink Connectivity, documentation, DataSync, and the John Deere Operations Center.
