Case IH Expands Industry’s Largest Combine Lineup With Redesigned AF9 & AF10
Case IH now has the industry’s largest combine harvester lineup following the introduction of the AF9 and AF10. The manufacturer says the redesigned single-rotor combines maximize capacity and crop flow while improving efficiency and simplifying maintenance.
The AF9 and AF10 join the AF11 to complete the AF Series, which launched in 2024.
“We know the harvesting challenges farmers face each year and know how critical it is to make each day as productive as the next,” says Leo Bose, harvesting segment lead at Case IH. “The AF9 and AF10 live up to the challenge.”
About The Case IH AF9 & AF10
The AF9 has 634 horsepower (473 kilowatts), while the AF10 has 775 HP (578 kW), placing the whole series at Class 9 or higher. The AFXL rotor is 40% longer than the 260 series and builds on Case IH’s axial-flow single-rotor technology to increase throughput. Buyers can choose the size of their tank to meet their needs.
The AF10 has a standard 567-bushel (20,000-liter) grain tank, with the option of a 455-bu (16,000-L) tank. The AF9 comes standard with a 455-bu grain tank, with the option of a 567-bushel tank. The combine series has a 2-speed grain elevator that runs at 8,000 bu/hr or 10,000 bu/hr.
Grain-handling capacity remains consistent throughout the process, from header to spreader. This ensures a smooth and efficient flow, maximizing harvest and minimizing bottlenecks.
The series offers several precision technology features. These include dual Pro 1200 displays, Harvest Command combine automation, and RowGuide Pro. Farmers can track their yield and machine data with Case IH FieldOps.
New Corn Head Series
Case IH also recently launched a new corn head series for the AF series and late-model Axial-Flow combines. Each C500 series corn head row unit and chopper has its own individual drive system, offering overload protection. The corn head also has the largest infeed auger in the industry. Sensors on the corn head monitor performance and alert the operator when slip occurs.
The series comes in sizes from eight to 18 rows, with narrow or standard options, and includes chopping or no-chopping options. Tall corn attachments are also available.
