JCB, a leading manufacturer of agriculture and construction machines, is exhibiting at the 62nd annual Rental Show, held in New Orleans Feb. 19-21.

    Fresh From The Factory

At the American Rental Association’s marquee event, JCB is debuting the new 33,000-pound (14,969-kilogram) class JZ141D reduced-tailswing excavator, the 510-42 Loadall telehandler that supports a 10,000-pound (4,536-kilogram) lift capacity and 42-foot (12.8-meter) lift height, and the canopy-equipped versions of the 3CX backhoe loader and 3TS-8T Teleskid compact track loader.

The new JZ141D excavator is particularly interesting because it forgoes the diesel particulate filter (DPF), diesel engine fluid (DEF), and all other forms of engine aftertreatment to deliver the power customers demand all while still conforming to the EPA’s emissions requirements. The shorter tailswing also lets operators maneuver the machine into and around tighter and more confined workspaces. Other features include a 20,682-pound-force (92-kilonewton) bucket tearout, a high-strength boom and dipper, and an ergonomic cab with intuitive controls designed to make the operators job easier and more comfortable.

The 510-42 Loadall telescopic handler is notable for its 10,000-pound (4,536-kilogram) maximum lift capacity, outrigger-independent 42-foot (12.8-meter) lift height, and support for either the JCB EcoMAX 109-horsepower engine or the 74-horsepower version that doesn’t require a DPF or DEF.

    Crowd Pleasers

Other construction and agricultural machines that will be on display at JCB’s booth (#6439) include the Access electric scissor lifts, the 505-20 Loadall telehandler, and the 210T small-platform compact track loader, which stands out for its large-platform horsepower and hydraulics.

All of the machines JCB has brought to the show have a few things in common, including superior performance and ease of use that renters demand, as well as the low cost of ownership and high residual values that rental industry professionals expect.

Whether you are in the rental business, a contractor, or an individual in the market for new or used JCB equipment for sale, you’ll find a multitude of options available on MachineryTrader.com, TractorHouse.com, and RentalYard.com.
