Ag and construction equipment manufacturer JCB has announced that its 512-56 Loadall telescopic handler is now available with the proven high-torque 74-horsepower (55-kilowatt) JCB EcoMAX engine. As such, this model is now the first telehandler on the market with a 12,000-pound (5,443-kilogram) lift capacity that forgoes the need for a DPF (diesel particulate filter), DEF (diesel engine fluid), and other engine aftertreatment technologies.

    Well-Equipped Equipment

The engine on this telehandler is based on the one JCB ships with its 510-56 telehandler, however it has been tweaked to deliver 14% more available power and has an 11% higher power-to-weight ratio. In addition to this machine’s impressive 12,000-pound lift capacity, it has a 56-foot (17-meter) maximum lift height. Other standout features include a fully proportional single-lever joystick boom control, new instruments in an automotive-style layout, a 3.5-inch color TFT screen, an easily adjustable tilting telescopic steering column, a large roof screen and low engine bay for high visibility, and backlit switches for operating the machine in low-light situations.

    Durability & More

JCB’s 512-56 Loadall is one of the strongest and most durable telehandlers available, thanks in part to its inverted, U-shaped steel boom that features fewer stress points. JCB Loadall telehandlers support 500-hour extended service intervals and simplified maintenance procedures, and operators can perform all daily checks from the ground level. This machine also supports the company’s LiveLink telematics system, for remote access to machine status information.
