Caterpillar just unveiled a trio of new compact wheel loaders that it has dubbed the M Series Ag Handlers. The 906M, 907M, and 908M are ideally suited to the rigors of a wide variety of agricultural applications.

    Power On Demand

The new Ag Handlers come equipped with the Cat C3.3B DIT engine that’s capable of generating up to 68 horsepower. The machines also leverage a high-speed hydrostatic transmission that delivers the power you need to get the task at hand done in a timely manner. Other standout features include Caterpillar’s exclusive Optimized Z-Bar loader linkage, multi-pump design for hydraulic functions, standard auxiliary hydraulics, premium cab with air conditioning, application-specific tires, and more.

The new Ag Handlers are also compatible with a wide variety of hydro-mechanical work tools, including silage defacers, bale grabs, grapple buckets, and more, and the coupler is available with a universal Skid Steer Loader interface or ISO horizontal pin interface.

    Greener Handlers

The Cat 906M, 907M, and 908M are all EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IIIB-compliant, ensuring that they’re gentle on the environment without holding you back. The Ag Handlers feature an Eco-Mode function that balances power output to save on fuel costs, as well as an engine pre-cleaner that prevents dust and dirt buildup on sensitive components, and the engine always gets just the right amount of cooling thanks to Cat’s hydraulically driven demand fan.
