Coinciding with the company’s 60th anniversary, Snorkel announced the release of two new telehandlers, the SR9244 and SR1054, at World Of Concrete 2019. Both models are designed to operate on rough terrain and have several features in common with the SR5719, which Snorkel released in January 2018, such as a Deutz TLD 3.6-liter Tier 4 Final engine that produces 100 horsepower, four-wheel drive with foam-filled tires, and power steering.

The enclosed cab features heating and air conditioning, an adjustable suspension seat, and other operator comforts. The new SR9244 and SR1054 have hydraulic attachment quick disconnect, making them easily customizable for a wide range of applications.

    Facts & Figures

The Snorkel SR9244 weighs 24,581 pounds (11,150 kilograms) and has a maximum lift capacity of 9,260 pounds (4,200 kilograms), lift height of 44.3 feet (13.5 meters), and forward reach of 31.2 feet (9.5 meters). The SR1054 weighs 26,852 pounds (12,180 kilograms) and has a maximum lift capacity of 10,000 pounds (4,535 kilograms), lift height of 53.75 feet (16.4 meters), and forward reach of 41.3 feet (12.6 meters). They both share the same width of 7.5 feet (2.3 meters) and stowed height of 8.42 feet (2.56 meters). Built for construction or for use as part of a rental fleet, the SR9244 and SR1054 are covered by five-year structural and two-year parts and labor warranties.

In addition to the SR9244 and SR1054, Snorkel also used World of Concrete as an opportunity to highlight its SR5719 telehandler, 660SJ mid-size telescopic boom lift, A46JRT and AB60J articulated boom lifts, materials lifts, and rough terrain scissor lifts, and electric slab scissor lifts.
