Kubota Debuts Its Lightest Compact Track Loader Ever
New from Kubota is the SVL65-2 compact track loader, slated for availability in April. It’s the lightest and most maneuverable Kubota yet, the company says.
“Its small-but-mighty size allows the SVL65-2 to maneuver easily in tight areas,” said Kubota’s Construction Equipment Product Operations Manager, Tim Boulds, “And it’s lighter-weight for less soil compaction, but still packs a powerful punch in efficiency, making it an ideal choice for landscapers, rental yards, and small contractors.”
Small But Mighty
The new SVL65-2 features the popular Kubota slide-up overhead front door for easy entry and egress. You can turn on its self-leveling feature to keep the bucket or forks level, or turn it off as you prefer.
The loader’s 68-horsepower (51-kilowatt) engine gives it an operating capacity of 2,100 pounds (953 kilograms) at 35% or 3,000 pounds (1,361 kilograms) at 50%. It has a 34.9-inch (88.6-centimeter) reach and a 118.5-inch (301-centimeter) hinge pin height.
AMV Valve
The SVL65-2 also features an Advanced Multifunction Valve (AMV). Kubota says the AMV facilitates simultaneous functions during operation, such as when you’re using the auxiliary, boom, and bucket circuits all at the same time. The AMV also makes it easier to use attachments with auxiliary hydraulics, such as grapple buckets, 4-in-1 buckets, and hydraulic augers.
