Snorkel announced at World of Concrete 2019 that it will bring its S2755RT and S2255RT scissor lifts to North America after a successful 2017 launch in Europe. These machines, which are now available for order, will join the company’s lineup of other compact, rough terrain scissor lifts, including the S2270RT, S3370RT, and S3970RT.

All of the models in the series sport Kubota diesel engines with the option for a “bi-energy power source” where you can “run the lift on either the diesel engine or a 24-volt power source,” according to Snorkel. Other shared, standard features include four-wheel drive, an oscillating axle, automatic self-leveling stabilizers, non-marking tires, and a rollout deck extension.

    Lightweight & Compact

The Snorkel S2755RT has a 4.75-foot (1.45-meter) wide chassis and offers a maximum platform capacity of 661 pounds (300 kilograms) and working height of 32.33 feet (10.1 meters). The S2255RT has the same width but has a maximum lift capacity of 926 pounds (420 kilograms) and working height of 27.25 feet (8.5 meters). The S2755RT weighs 6,062 pounds (2,570 kilograms) and the S2255RT weighs 5,313 pounds (2,410 kilograms), which make it possible to tow them with a light commercial vehicle. Snorkel backs its scissor lifts with five-year structural and 2-year parts and labor warranties.
