Morbark just unveiled the Rayco 1800AWL Articulated Wheel Loader at the TCI Expo, which took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from November 7 to 9. The company also announced a new stump cutter along with several other machines expected to release in the first half of 2020, including the larger Rayco 4000AWL. “At Morbark, we are focused on continually providing new products and product improvements that meet our customers’ needs and help them succeed in their businesses,” says Casey Gross, director of tree care products at Morbark. “These newest products, the articulated wheel loader and large stump cutter, are direct responses to our customers’ requests and feedback.”

The Rayco 1800AWL is the first entry in Morbark’s new lineup of articulated wheel loaders and is designed for landscaping companies, machinery rental businesses, farms, and more. It can handle that wide range of applications largely thanks to its compact size as well as its quick-attach system, which allows operators to change attachments on the fly.

    Vital Statistics

The 1800AWL is 106.5 inches (270.5 centimeters) long and 50.5 inches (128 centimeters) wide with an operating height of 83.6 inches (212 centimeters). It weighs 3,850 pounds (1,746 kilograms) and has a ground clearance of 7.2 inches (18 centimeters). It also has a maximum lift height of 114 inches (289.6 centimeters) and a working lift capacity of 1,800 pounds (816.5 kilograms). Other features include a 24.8-horsepower (18.5-kilowatt) Kubota D1105 diesel engine, a 6-gallon (22.7-liter) fuel tank capacity, and a ROPS/FOPS-certified open cab with a low-profile suspension seat and ergonomic controls.
