New Payload Weighing System A Key Feature On Deere’s L-Series Wheel Loaders
With the ability to quickly weigh and calculate loads, Deere’s factory-installed Payload Weighing System helps streamline the load-out process for operators using Deere’s recently announced four-wheel-drive L-Series Wheel Loaders. The system includes an auto-accumulation feature that adds each bucket load to an accruing total so operators can weigh as they work. An overload alarm is also onboard to alert the operator when the wheel loader’s payload exceeds the user-defined limit.
Manage Productivity From The Cab
A touchscreen display inside the cab shows the current payload information, and the Payload Weighing System also features a live tip-off function to quickly adjust the final load. For flexibility between tasks, operators can manage multiple active jobs and pause jobs as needed. When it comes to more complex tasks, operators can turn to the tare function, which lets them remove the hopper or pallet weight and determine the material weight without off-board calculations. In addition, the Payload Weighing System offers a product mix mode to create special product blends when mixing different materials during unique jobs.
Record Keeping
In addition to helping operators achieve target payloads, the Payload Weighing System collects production data and integrates with JDLink telematics. These integrations allow users to track and visualize payload data within the JDLink Portal and JDLink Mobile, and when combined with the onboard database, operators enjoy virtually unlimited inputs of products, customers, trucks, haulers and more to ensure accurate records. All of this information can also be exported via USB or a printed receipt.
