JLG Unveils New 1030P Low-Level Access Push Around Lift At The ARA Show In Orlando, Florida
At The ARA Show, which is taking place through the end of the day today in Orlando, Florida, JLG introduced its new 1030P manually propelled push around lift. The 1030P aerial work platform has a maximum height of 10 feet, 2 inches (3.1 meters) and a width of 2 feet, 6 inches (0.76 m), and the platform is 30 by 60 inches (0.76 by 1.52 m). Weighing in at 755 pounds (342.5 kilograms), this compact personnel lift is lightweight and “easy to push into place,” according to JLG, but still has a maximum platform capacity of 550 lbs (250 kg). JLG also points out that the 1030P is “ideal for use in place of scaffolding” for applications “require a work height up to 16 feet” (4.9 meters).
Enhanced Productivity Across A Wide Range Of Applications
“Understanding low-level access is not a one-size-fits-all solution, JLG designed the 1030P to give operators more platform space to complete work with a single lift,” says Chad Kritzman, product manager, low-level access, at JLG. “This new lift eliminates multiple trips up and down a ladder for greater productivity and improved safety. It is ideal for jobs where multiple tools and a variety of materials are required, such as drywall, plumbing, HVAC and electrical/mechanical work.”
Other 1030P Features
The 1030P, which is the newest entry in JLG’s low-level access range, has several safety features that kick in automatically, including auto-locking wheels and a self-closing swing gate. It also has a “low ground-bearing pressure” that makes it well suited for working on “floors or in elevators with limited load requirements,” JLG adds. There are also several optional add-ons available, including a foam buffer kit, narrow basket, pipe rack, and tool tray.
