Machine Information Always At The Ready With Skyjack’s ELEVATE Live

With no app to download, or a username and password to enter, ELEVATE Live gives operators a fast way to access machine information. (Image courtesy of Skyjack.)

With Skyjack equipment on rent as much as 70 to 80% of the time, the company decided it needed a better way to provide equipment operators with access to critical machine information like pre-use inspection guides, familiarization materials, and the machine’s current state of health. ELEVATE Live is Skyjack’s solution, as operators need only scan a QR code on the machine to access equipment information on their mobile device. Skyjack says ELEVATE Live eliminates the need for operators to install an app and enter login credentials.

    Works With & Without Telematics

If the machine in question has ELEVATE telematics installed, operators who access ELEVATE Live can quickly access the machine’s state of health, including a simple percentage of battery life, last charge date, and recommended charging action. For Skyjack machines with combustion engines, operators can view machine engine faults and daily usage metrics. Skyjack equipment without ELEVATE telematics still provide the operator a wealth of resources. Key resources include a quick-use guide, a searchable digital copy of the operator manual, familiarization videos, spec sheets, and emergency lowering procedures.

    Elevated Standards

By offering quick access to materials, Skyjack makes it easier for rental companies and operators meet their obligations under the new ANSI standards. David Swan, product manager of technology and innovation at Skyjack, also notes that “Making our support material more readily available to operators increases the probability that they’ll interact with our machines as recommended, thus supporting our safety initiatives, and our customers’ cost of ownership goals.”
