Toro e-Dingo Ideal For Indoor Construction With Compact Design & Zero Exhaust Emissions
Looking to speed along an indoor construction job? Toro’s new e-Dingo 500 compact utility loader is powered by a lithium-ion battery to eliminate exhaust emissions, and the unit can fit into interior and compact spaces. The e-Dingo 500 is also compatible with many of Toro’s existing lineup of Dingo attachments, including standard and narrow buckets, adjustable forks, grapples, utility blades, and augers.
Capacity & Versatility
“These reliable machines are game-changers for indoor contractors in the compact utility loader category to help reduce overall costs and speed up completion,” says Jay Thaker, marketing manager at Toro. “With the ability to use common attachments that work with all Dingo models, operators will be able to handle a wide variety of tasks with greater efficiency.” Toro rates the e-Dingo with a maximum operating capacity of 515 pounds (234 kilograms) to power through indoor construction. And to get in and around tight spaces, the e-Dingo features Toro’s 4-Paw independent four-wheel-drive system with spin-turn capability.
Power When You Need It
Toro uses lithium-ion battery technology that, according to the company, is “designed for tasks that require heavy or continuous operator for indoor applications.” For further reliability, the e-Dingo features an Auto Idle mode to conserve battery power. Toro indicates that the machine will shift to a low idle after five seconds of non-use and will completely shut off after being idle for 30 seconds. Operators can instantly restart the e-Dingo by double-tapping the traction control lever.
