Kubota Tractor Corporation recently showcased its new SCL1000 stand-on track loader at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 trade show. The new track loader is Kubota’s latest release in its growing construction line. The SCL1000 will be available at select Kubota dealers starting in the second half of 2020.

    About The SCL1000

Kubota’s first stand-on track loader features a 9.8-inch (24.9-centimeter) track on a 36-in (91.4-cm) machine with a 4.0 psi rating and a Rated Operating Capacity of 1,000 pounds (453 kilograms). This design means it has low impact on grass and landscaping. The undercarriage is welded to the mainframe for greater durability. The SCL1000 has a 24.8-horsepower turbocharged diesel engine that delivers high-altitude performance with quiet operation and no need for diesel particulate filter. The loader arms have a hinge pin height of 84.7 in (215 cm) and a reach of 25.9 in (65.8 cm) at a 45-degree dump angle. A cushioned loader boom cylinder and an adjustable platform suspension system add to operator comfort.

    Unwavering

“Kubota has an unwavering commitment to the compact construction market,” says Tim Boulds, Kubota construction equipment Product Operations Manager. “And, while we took our time to engineer our inaugural product in this segment, the SCL1000 truly is a testament to that commitment, specifically filling the requests from contractors in the marketplace. We’re excited that Kubota can now compete in this segment with the SCL1000.”
