Aerial lift manufacturer Snorkel is displaying what it says is the world’s largest self-propelled boom lift at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 trade show happening now through March 14 in Las Vegas with the Snorkel 2100SJ “mega boom.” Making its global debut at CONEXPO, the 2100SJ provides a maximum 216-foot (65.8-meter) working height, an industry-leading 100-ft. (30.5-m) horizontal outreach, and a best-in-class 5.48 million-cubic-foot (155,176-cubic-meter) working envelope area volume, Snorkel says. You can see Snorkel’s products at Booth #F6929 in the Festival Lot.

    New Launches & Industry Firsts

Snorkel is taking orders at CONEXPO for the 2100SJ, which will ship in early 2021. Also at the show, Snorkel is displaying the 76-ft. (23.3-m), 2,000-pound (907-kilogram) lift capacity S9070RT-HC, the first of four new “mega scissor” ultra-high-capacity large-deck construction scissor lifts the company will launch this year. It’s also launching a new three-model lineup of large-deck construction scissor lifts from 39 to 59 ft. (11.8 to 17.9 m) that includes the 49-ft. (15-m) S9043RT that’s on display. Snorkel is also expanding its electric slab scissor lift range at CONEXPO with the new S4740E, now Snorkel’s largest model at a 45.5-ft. (14-m) maximum working height. The S4740E is available with your choice of hydraulic or electric drives.

Snorkel is also previewing a lithium-ion electric compact rough-terrain scissor lift and the new SR5719E, an “industry-first lithium-powered compact telehandler.” For its midsize telescopic boom lift range, meanwhile, it’s displaying an All Terrain package for its 600S/660SJ models that features four independent rubber tracks, and displaying a new four-cylinder Kubota V1505 naturally aspirated diesel engine option for the 400S and 460SJ that launched in February and provides 24.9 horsepower (18.6 kilowatts) to fall under 25-hp emissions regulations.
