CASE Launches More Intuitive Generation Of Its SiteWatch Telematics Platform
The CASE SiteWatch telematics platform has a new and improved interface that’s easier to navigate, the construction equipment manufacturer says. The next-generation platform also presents important information in new overviews.
“Telematics data from construction equipment only helps if it’s easy to engage with and easy to understand when it’s presented to you,” says CASE Product Marketing Manager Richie Snyder. “The new CASE SiteWatch telematics platform presents users with a high level of critical data on a very clear and intuitive dashboard, and then puts all critical machine and performance data within just a click or two, whether you’re at your desk or on your tablet in the field.”
Scenic Overlook
The new SiteWatch interface is reminiscent of a web page, with tabbed menu items across the top and a couple of drop-down menus. The new Dashboard features widgets that display fleet information such as an equipment summary, maintenance status levels, and recent alarms such as machines leaving their geofence boundaries or coming up on an oil change deadline. SiteWatch also has an equipment search feature and can run reports on maintenance, machine utilization, and fuel consumption. The system further provides operational history as well as machine location and even theft recovery assistance.
For users who prefer the previous SiteWatch interface, it will continue to be available for a time by clicking or tapping an icon. SiteWatch is compliant with the AEMP 2.0 mixed-fleet telematics compatibility standard from the Association of Equipment Management Professionals.
