Doosan’s New DL380-7 Wheel Loader Replaces The DL350-5 & Moves More In Less Time
Doosan’s new DL380-7 features a 7% bigger bucket than the model its replacing, the DL350-5, as well as a host of improvements to support those heavier material loads. A few of the heavy-duty highlights on the new DL380-7 include stronger and larger axles, a strengthened box frame, and loads of technology to improve the wheel loader’s productivity.
"An increase in bucket capacity means more material moved, in less time, for our customers," says Aaron Kleingartner, dealer and product marketing manager, Doosan Infracore North America. "Many operators are making thousands of passes each year. With this new loader, they're moving more material with each pass, and it adds up in productivity gains."
Technology Built For Today’s Jobsites
The DL380-7 features many of Doosan’s latest tech amenities. For example, DoosanCONNECT Telematics is onboard to let owners monitor machine location, operating hours, and fuel usage in real time, while fleet managers can optimize usage with telematics information like engine idle vs. work time. Doosan also equips its Situation Awareness Technology (SAT) 2.0 technology, which adjusts engine output based on activity levels, such as the real-time load on the hydraulic system and drivetrain. The DL380-7 also offers a load isolation system to improve the wheel loader’s stability. Optional features are also available to increase efficiency and productivity, including the Doosan Smart Load weighing system and Doosan Transparent Bucket (coming soon), which puts a camera view of blind spots in front of the bucket on a monitor in the cab.
