JLG Introduces 4069 & 4769 Rough-Terrain Scissor Lifts With Hydrostatic Drive Or AC Electric Drive
The new JLG 4069 and 4769 rough-terrain lifts scissor lifts introduce taller platform heights on JLG’s RT and ERT series, elevating to 40.25 feet (12.25 meters) and 47 ft (14.3 m), respectively. The RT units are powered by 24.8-horsepower (18.5-kilowatt) Kubota engines and the ERT (Electric Rough Terrain) scissor lifts are powered by AC electric drive. The new rough-terrain units can be driven while fully elevated to help operators reduce the number of trips up and down they must make when working along the length of a building.
Platform Capacity & Size
Both the JLG 4069 and 4769 RT/ERT scissor lifts support a platform capacity of 800 pounds (362 kilograms). JLG says the platforms on the new scissor lifts offer 28% more working area than previous models, measuring 130.5 by 63 inches (331.5 by x 160 centimeters). Designed for flexibility, the lifts’ platform can also extend to an additional 42 in. (107 cm) in length, and the rails can fold down so that it can pass through tight spaces in its fully stowed configuration.
Control Options
JLG’s LiftSense technology monitors the side-to-side and front-to-back tilt and weight on the platform to show users the maximum safe height before they elevate the scissor lift. The LCD display on the control box can also display machine health and safety notifications, as well as a multitude of productivity and terrain data. The optional QuikLevel Advanced feature, for example, lets RT models automatically level the scissor lift (when stowed) on side slopes up to 4.5 degrees, and once elevated (and under certain conditions), the scissor lift can drive at full height. JLG says all of its RT and ERT models can collapse down in three minutes or less.
