CLARK Material Handling has launched its new SE15-25T line of three-wheel, battery-electric forklifts. This fully AC electric forklift truck range has a lift capacity of up to 5,000 pounds (2,268 kilograms). It comes in 11 configurations and is suitable for manufacturing, warehousing, bottling, and shipping/receiving applications, CLARK says.

“The new CLARK electric three-wheel lift truck represents the best of CLARK innovation and design, as well as our continuing goal of developing and delivering the best lift trucks to the market,” said CLARK Material Handling President and CEO Dennis Lawrence.

The new electric models join the internal combustion-powered pneumatic and cushion-tire lift trucks in CLARK’s S-SERIES family.

    SMART, STRONG & SAFE

The new line of electric mast forklifts includes four models. The SE15T on the smaller end can lift up to 3,000 lbs (1,360 kg); the SE17T, 3,500 lbs (1,588 kg); the SE20T, 4,000 lbs (1,814 kg); and the SE25T, 5,000 lbs. CLARK claims that the SE25T is the only three-wheel electric lift truck with a true 5,000-lb lift capacity. The SE25T also comes with cushion tires, whereas the smaller three models roll on superelastic tires.

For strength, CLARK builds the SE15-25T family with a heavy-gauge frame that is fully welded. The company beefed up the strength of the lifts’ steer axle, pump motors, hoses, and cables for reliable operation at high load capacities, which are supported by the trucks’ staggered and nested I-beam upright.

“By bringing the SE20T into the S-SERIES family, we also maintain our ongoing commitment to providing customers SMART, STRONG, and SAFE products for all of their material handling needs,” Lawrence says. “We take great pride in introducing the SE20T to the market and remain certain our dealers and their customers will appreciate this lift truck’s value and its strength.”

    Safety First

CLARK says the new SE15-25T line features the lowest initial step heights and one of the smallest turn radiuses of the industry’s electric three-wheel forklifts. The manufacturer redesigned the operator compartment for ergonomics and safety with a brightly colored seat belt and other features.

The 100% AC electric SE15-25T line comes with 36- or 48-volt batteries with greater efficiency than previous power storage packs. Next-generation Zapi ACE-2 controllers gives the operator a clearer understanding of battery life cycles.

CLARK backs the SE15-25T family with a 2-year or 4,000-hour “carriage to counterweight” warranty and an additional 12-month and 2,000-hour protection plan for the powertrain.
