Snorkel’s Fully Electric SR5719E Rough-Terrain Telehandler On Display At 2022 CRA Rental Rally
Snorkel offers nine fully-electric lifts powered by lithium-ion batteries, a product lineup that includes a selection of rough-terrain equipment. The company recently highlighted its fully-electric lift technology and rough-terrain power by displaying its SR5719E compact rough-terrain telehandler at the 2022 California Rental Association (CRA) Rental Rally. The four-wheel-drive SR5719E can continuously operate for six hours per charge, thanks to its long-lasting lithium-ion batteries.
An Alternative To Internal Combustion
The SR5719E lifts 5,700 pounds (2,600 kilograms) and reaches heights up to 19 feet (5.8 meters). It can raise the load in 6.9 seconds and lower it in 5. The telehandler’s forward reach lets it place and pick up loads 10.33 ft (3.1 m) away. Snorkel equips the SR5719E with non-marking tires that complement its low-noise, zero-emission design, all of which make it well-suited to working indoors. The compact width (6.16 ft; 1.9 m) also allows the machine to comfortably work in tight spaces. When operating outside, the SR5719E’s high-grip tires, 9-inch (229-millimeter) ground clearance, and four-wheel drive make it more than a match for difficult terrain.
Battery-Electric Showcase
Snorkel also showed off a few of its battery-electric slab scissor lifts at the rally, including the TM16E telescopic mast lift and the S3212E and S3226E electric slab scissor lifts. The TM16E offers the tallest working height (22 ft; 6.7 m) in Snorkel’s self-propelled telescopic mast lineup and provides a 550-lb (249-kg) platform capacity. The popular S3219E on display at the CRA Rental Rally was the 10,000th produced at its Elwood, Kansas, manufacturing facility. The S3129E electric scissor lift delivers a working height of 25 ft (7.6 m) and a 550-lb platform capacity.
