Case To Announce Upcoming E Series Excavators With Improved Operator Experience & More
Mark your calendars. On September 22nd, Case will introduce seven new E Series excavators in two new size classes. Details are limited for now, but Case does say the announcement will involve two entirely new models, new FPT Industrial engines, and a new Hydraulic Flow Control Balance capability, among other developments. Also on tap is a “massive” new operator interface with new control customizations and configurations.
What We Know
Case’s excavator lineup includes mini, midrange, and full-size models. The E Series will introduce an all-new CX365E SR model as well as the new CX190E, which the company says will expand on an “important class of machine.” The new engines will provide increased horsepower, torque, and transient response, plus extended service intervals. Hydraulic Flow Control Balance, meanwhile, will allow the operator to personalize arm in and boom up and arm in and swinging flow settings. Also planned are new and expanded attachment setting and profile storage capabilities, and four new operating modes that will let operators fine-tune machine performance to the task.
Work Smarter
The new operator interface features a new 10-inch LCD providing extended access and visibility to cameras, machine data, and controls. Operators will be able to customize the interface’s view with rearview, sideview, and Max View perspectives and still access machine data and controls. Case says the machines will also feature one of the construction industry’s most expansive set of OEM-Fit 2D and 3D machine control systems. Additionally, the included Case SiteConnect Module and the SiteManager App will provide greater connectivity and collaborative fleet management capabilities.
