Clark Material Handling has launched its SEC20-35 line of four-wheel, battery-electric cushion tire forklifts. Lift capacities on the fully electric lift trucks, which come in five models, range from 4,000 to 7,000 pounds (1,814 to 3,175 kilograms). To reliably lift such heavy loads, Clark builds the SEC20-35 family with a heavy-gauge, fully welded frame and its nested I-Beam mast that provides stability when lifting at height. The series’ maximum lift height at full capacity is 15.75 feet (4.8 meters).

“The SEC four-wheel electric truck is another solid addition to the S-Series lineup,” says Brandon Bullard, director of sales and marketing at Clark. “As the inventor of the material-handling industry, our customers have looked to Clark for the last 105 years to provide the most durable, reliable, ergonomic, and efficient forklifts on the market.”

    SEC20-35 Specifications

The SEC20 is on the smaller end of the new all-electric lineup and can lift 4,000 lbs. The SEC25 increases load capacity to 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg), while the SEC30 lifts 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg) and the SEC32 lifts 6,500 lbs (2,948 kg). The SEC35 is the flagship for the new four-wheel forklift series, lifting 7,000 lbs. Clark says the new SEC series is suitable for work in manufacturing, warehousing, bottling, and shipping/receiving settings.

    Programmable Performance

The SEC20-35 forklifts feature a cowl-mounted LCD touchscreen and new Zapi ACE3 controllers for advanced control. Operators can select from three performance modes: Economy, Standard, and Power. Clark also includes a Turtle mode that restricts speed to enhance safety and improve operator control. The SEC20-35 can be equipped with the Clark Performance Package, which decreases tilt speed and auxiliary functions when the forks are loaded and lowered.
