Vögele has flagged the asphalt pavers it will showcase at the upcoming ConExpo construction show, which is scheduled for March 14th to 18th in Las Vegas. They include the company’s Super 700i mini paver, Super 1300-3i compact paver, Super 1703-3i general paver, and Super 2000-3i highway paver.

Made in Germany but designed for North American users, this selection of Vögele pavers addresses a full range of applications from bike and pedestrian paths to highway renovation.

    Mini & Compact Models

Vögele’s Super 700i Mini Class paver can tackle very narrow projects from 1.67 feet (0.5 meters) wide with cut-off shoes to 10.5 ft (3.2 m) wide with bolt-on extensions. The highly maneuverable paver is designed to work with the AB 220 extending screed and Vögele’s simplified ErgoBasic operating system.

Next up the paving width ladder is the Super 1300-3i Compact Class paver with the AB 340 extending screed and the ErgoPlus operating system. The Super 1300-3i can lay down up to 385 tons (350 metric tons) of asphalt per hour. It can be adapted to pave at widths of 2.5 to 16.4 ft (0.76 to 5 m).

    Universal & Highway Models

The feature-rich Super 1703-3i Universal Class paver from Vögele is matched to the VF 500 front-mounted screed. It can lay pavement at up to 770 t (700 mt) per hour at widths between 8 and 19.5 ft (2.4 and 5.9 m). Standard and optional features include the ErgoPlus 3 operating system, a Pivot Steer brake, Niveltronic Plus grade and slope control, the Vögele EcoPlus fuel-conserving package, and the Vögele RoadScan non-contacting surface temperature monitor.

Finally, there’s the Super 2000-3i Highway Class paver paired with the AB 600 extending screed with a tamper bar for high pre-compaction. The combo is adept at large projects with a laydown rate of up to 1,540 t (1,400 mt) per hour and paving widths of up to 27.9 ft (8.5 m). The Super 2000-3i is also available with vibrator-only screeds in front- and rear-mount versions.
