Snorkel Debuts New TM20E Electric-Drive Mast Lift At ConExpo
Snorkel showcased seven new machines for the 2023 model year at this year’s ConExpo, which was held in Las Vegas in mid-March. Among the new offerings that made their public debut at North America’s largest trade show for the construction industry was the TM20E electric-drive mast lift, which features a zero-degree turning radius in a compact, zero-emissions machine.
Well-Suited To Indoor Jobs
The newest addition to Snorkel’s bestselling line of versatile electric mast lifts, the TM20E has the same features and benefits customers have enjoyed in the TM12 and TM16 but has a higher maximum working height. It also has an increased base platform length for additional work room that can be augmented with an extension deck that adds 16 inches when needed. The narrow dimensions of Snorkel’s self-propelled telescopic mast lifts allow the machines to drive through standard doorways and into and out of passenger elevators, making them an ideal option for indoor jobs.
Specs & Features
The TM20E has a working height of 25.75 feet (7.8 meters) and a 450-pound (204-kilogram) platform capacity. The 31.56- by 54.75-inch (80- by 139-centimeter) platform has a maximum platform height of 19.75 ft (6 m) and can extend to 31.56 by 70.75 in. (180 cm). The electric-drive mast lift has a single-entry gate, proportional controls, non-marking rubber tires, and an integrated 110-volt, 20-amp battery charger. It is also equipped with safety features such as descent and tilt alarms, emergency lowering at chassis controls, a selectable motion alarm, and a platform overload system. An hour meter and on-board diagnostics display allows operators to monitor the lift and troubleshoot any problems.
