Toro eDingo 500 Electric Mini Skid Steer Gets New Attachments For Demolition & Construction Tasks
Toro recently introduced a new range of attachments for its 30-inch (76-centimeter)-wide eDingo 500, an electric mini skid steer built for indoor demolition and construction projects. The attachments include a new standard bucket, a floor scraper, a grapple bucket, and adjustable forks.
Skid Steer Compatibility
The attachments are compatible with other Dingo skid steers and track loaders except for the TXL 2000. They all measure less than 30 in., so they’ll fit through standard 3-foot (0.9-meter) doorways on residential, commercial, or demolition jobsites.
“This line of narrow attachments is going to quite literally open new doors on indoor jobsites,” says Toro Senior Marketing Manager Sam Dando. “With the success of the eDingo, indoor demolition and construction work can now be completed even faster with these new 30-inch versions of Toro’s most popular and versatile attachments.”
Toro’s Dingo Attachments At Work
Depending on the attachment, landscape professionals, contractors, and other operators can carry out demolition tasks and haul, grab, lift, drag, or scrape materials like concrete, sand, rock, pallets, debris, carpet squares, paint, glue, and tiles.
The bucket features a hardened steel cutting edit and has a capacity of just under 3 cubic ft. (0.08 cu m). The high-strength steel forks easily adjust in width to suit different tasks. The floor scraper has a durable laser-cut all-steel frame, and it includes four 31.8-pound (14.4-kilogram) weights and a 2-ft (0.6-m) floating blade holder that keeps the blade level when passing over uneven surfaces. A quick-attach mounting plate makes it easy to switch blades, which are available separately.
New Dingo Attachment Availability
Toro offers more than 35 attachments for its Dingo loaders. Toro eDingo 500 operators can put the new adjustable forks, the grapple bucket, and the floor scraper to work immediately. The standard bucket will be available in January.
Where eDingo Fits In The Dingo Family
The Dingo lineup comprises more than a dozen electric, gas, and diesel wheel skid steers and track loaders with stand-on and ride-on platforms, and radial and vertical lift capabilities. The compact machines are variously equipped with the Toro-designed 4-Paw independent four-wheel-drive system, patented traction and lift controls, exclusive telescoping arms, and the Intelescope loader arm with SmartLoad technology.
The eDingo uses Toro’s patented HyperCell Power System and a proprietary battery management system. The machine’s quiet, exhaust-free, electric-drive motor provides eight hours of continuous runtime on one charge. The eDingo 500 has a rated operating capacity of 515 lbs (234 kg) and an 81-in. (206-cm) hinge pin height that gives it the clearance to load most standard dumpsters. The maximum operating height is 106 in. (269 cm).
