Palfinger Aims To Set New Industry Benchmarks With Pal Pro 58 Mechanics Truck & PSC 8600 TEC Service Crane
Palfinger recently launched the Pal Pro 58 Mechanics Truck and the PSC8600 TEC Service Crane at Work Truck Week in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company says the new mechanics truck and service crane will redefine industry standards for durability, safety, and performance.
“We are excited to launch these new solutions in North America,” says Ismael Daneluz, Palfinger vice president of sales and service for North and Latin America. “Our focus is on customer satisfaction and creating products tailored to address the unique demands of the region, ensuring our customers can achieve their goals with greater ease and efficiency. These new products clearly demonstrate Palfinger’s leadership and commitment to innovation and to creating solutions that move the industry forward.”
Lighter Weight, Longer Reach
The Pal Pro 58 and the PSC 8600 TEC are made for Class 5 chassis applications, pairing extended reach with weight reduction. Together, the mechanics truck and service crane have a lift capacity of 8,600 pounds (3,900 kilograms) and a 58,000 pounds-foot (78,600 newton-meters) moment rating.

The mechanics truck is manufactured with 12-gauge, all A-60 galvanneal steel and a hybrid torsion box, nearly eliminating frame and side pack deflection. The 12-step e-coat process further protects against corrosion.
The Pal Pro 58 is available in 11-foot body configurations and has bolt-on mounting locations for accessories such as compressors, welders, headache racks, and toolboxes. The truck also has improved lighting packages for night work.

The crane’s design moves the winch to a boom-mounted position, streamlining operation and fixing cable concerns. The crane also has an overload protection system to ensure reliability and Load Moment Indication for real-time load-on-hook information.
The service crane has 22- and 31-foot (6.7- and 9.4-meter) reach versions with two interchangeable proportional remote control style options.
