JLG recently introduced its new ES4046 electric scissor lift, which the manufacturer says has a simplified design and enhanced functionality. The lift has fold-down rails, increased maneuverability, and the lowest gross weight in its class.

“This model completes the JLG family of ES Series scissors, and the added value isn’t just with the updated specs,” says JLG Director of Product Management Bob Begley. “JLG ClearSky Smart Fleet comes standard, and the future-focused design supports facilities’ daily tasks by providing efficiency and enhancing battery life.”

    JLG ES4046 Specifics

The scissor lift’s pared-down design uses an electric drive with fewer hydraulic hoses and fittings and a single lift cylinder yet offers over 40% more duty cycles than its predecessor, the R4045 electric scissor lift. The ES4046 has the highest lift of the ES Series with a 39-foot (12-meter) maximum platform height indoors and 28.5 ft (8.7 m) outdoors. The lift has an indoor occupancy capacity of three people.

With a zero turning radius, the ES4046 can navigate narrow aisles and tight overhead spaces. Options include the CleanGuard leak containment system for sensitive flooring, the SkySense detection system for protecting people and property, and a 900-watt inverter to charge tools. As Begley notes, the ES4046 electric scissor lift comes standard with ClearSky Smart Fleet to enable fleet tracking and tech support.

“This scissor lift will continue to evolve as operator needs change, to expand jobsite capabilities and continue to deliver the best in productivity, efficiency and safety,” says JLG Director of Product Management Bob Begley. (Photo courtesy of JLG.)

    Future-Ready

“Specifically designed to meet the demands of the work site of the future, the ES4046 electric scissor lift was built with new power options and advanced technologies in mind,” adds Begley. “This scissor lift will continue to evolve as operator needs change, to expand jobsite capabilities and continue to deliver the best in productivity, efficiency, and safety.”
