To help create greener worksites, Wacker Neuson recently introduced new additions to its line of electric construction equipment, including the WP1550e single-direction vibratory plate. The emissions-free vibratory plate provides efficient compaction and a long run time, operating 60 minutes between charges.

Like all of Wacker Neuson’s battery-powered equipment, the WP1550e uses the Battery One battery system, simplifying equipment needs on construction jobsites by using one battery type and one charging system for multiple machines.

    Wacker Neuson WP1550e Benefits

The WP1550e has Wacker Neuson’s DireX direct drive, enabling efficient compaction and long battery life without needing a V-belt. The single-direction vibratory plate’s maintenance-free electric motor saves time and money, and the control handle's central attachment makes for easy turns. The frame can also swivel forward for use on slopes. Low hand-arm vibrations of less than 5 m/s² improve operator comfort during prolonged use.

The base plate is made of nodular cast iron with rounded edges, which has a long service life and produces a high-quality asphalt surface. The zero-emission WP1550e can also be used in more types of projects, as it can work in areas with special environmental regulations.
