In January of 2018, Peterbilt will produce its 1,000,000th truck, a major accomplishment that will be the culmination of nearly 80 years of work in the truck manufacturing industry. In order to properly celebrate this milestone, Peterbilt is getting customers and fans of the brand involved with the SuperFan campaign. The aim is to give people an opportunity to talk about how much Peterbilt means to them, with the ultimate goal of finding the one fan that tops them all.

How To Become The Peterbilt SuperFan

When the promotion kicks off, Peterbilt will find five SuperFans that essentially serve as a semi-finalists. Then, out of those five, one person will be selected as the finalist and will be given the Peterbilt Model 567 Heritage truck as a prize. This will be the actual 1,000,000th production unit, specially customized for the event, and will be presented at the 2018 Mid America Trucking Show (MATS).

Starting now and running through December 22, 2017, fans of Peterbilt in the United States and Canada can visit Peterbilt.com/SuperFanSearch to share their experiences with the brand via videos, photos, and stories. Once the company is able to work through submissions, the five semi-finalists will be notified in early January.

The winner of Peterbilt’s SuperFan campaign will win a Model 567 Heritage, which will be customized to the hilt and will look much different from the standard Peterbilt 567 model shown here. (Image courtesy of Peterbilt.)

    The Mid America Trucking Show

MATS is the largest heavy duty trucking event in the world and is held every year in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Exposition Center. It takes place over three days and features more than 1 million square feet of exhibition space and over 1,000 exhibitors, which makes it the perfect venue for Peterbilt to present the winner of the SuperFan campaign and hand over the keys to the Model 567 Heritage. The 2018 Mid America Trucking show runs from Thursday, March 22nd, through Saturday, March 24th next year.
