Isuzu recently rolled out some new information about its 2018 and 2019 model-year low-cab-forward trucks, and the news is exciting for long-time fans of the brand. Perhaps the biggest announcement is the inclusion of a Crew Cab configuration for the NRR a 19,500-pound (8,845-kilogram) gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) workhorse than will be able to hold up to seven total passengers. Other models in the N-Series will also have the option for a standard 3-person cab or the new 7-passenger Crew Cab, which opens up Isuzu trucks for even more potential applications.

Isuzu’s low-cab-forward trucks are unique in that the lineup includes two EPA-certified diesel engines as well as models with gasoline engines. The company’s 5.2-liter Isuzu 4HK1-TC diesel engine is particularly impressive because it offers a B10 service life durability of up to 375,000 miles (603,504 kilometers). And the Vortec gasoline engine, which you’ll find available on some N-Series models, are compatible with compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Isuzu’s N-Series and F-Series trucks are also highly customizable with many different body options.
