Kenworth To Highlight W990 & Other Models At The Mid-America Trucking Show 2019
Kenworth is bringing a bevy of popular models to this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS), which runs March 28-30 in Louisville, Kentucky. The stars of the company’s booth will be three W990 models, two with 76-inch mid-roof sleeper cabs and one with a heavy haul day cab. Another W990 model, a 76-inch sleeper owned by Fleenor Bros., will join them to take part in the 30th iteration of the Paul K. Young Truck Beauty Championship at the event.
“It’s always important for Kenworth to bring its latest products to the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, especially to show to those many drivers and owner-operators, and their families, that truly appreciate The World’s Best trucks,” says Kurt Swihart, marketing director for Kenworth. “Our products—their style, comfort, and reliability—resonate with our customers. We’re looking forward to telling the Kenworth story once again at MATS.”
Kenworth T680s
Kenworth will also have three T680 models on display at MATS 2019. One features a 76-inch high roof sleeper with Diamond VIT interior, PACCAR MX-13 engine, PACCAR 12-speed automated transmission, and PACCAR 40K tandem rear axles. The second, a used model, features a 76-inch sleeper and MX-13 engine. Because it is part of the company’s Certified Pre-Owned Program, it comes with a 125,000-mile (201,168-kilometer) warranty for the engine and after-treatment system and has the option for a 250,000-mile (402,336-kilometer) PACCAR engine warranty. The third model is the “Everyday Heroes” T680, which supports Truckers Against Trafficking in its fight against human trafficking.
Even More Kenworth Trucks
There will be two Kenworth T880S models at the show, including one with a set-forward axle, PACCAR MX-13 engine, and Rogue Dump body. The other is also a set-forward axle model, but is configured as a mixer truck with a PACCAR MX-11 engine. Kenworth will round its display out with a T370 medium-duty 6x6 model that features a PACCAR PX-9 engine, 20K front drive axles, and a Valew Water Tanker.
