Kenworth now offers extended TruckTech+ Remote Diagnostics coverage on new medium-duty conventional trucks with PACCAR PX-7 or PX-9 engines. In addition to the two-year base subscription provided free of charge at the time of purchase, customers have the option of extending coverage by six months up to three years after the initial plan expires. You can also add an extended subscription at a later date by reaching out to your local Kenworth dealer.

In the event that Kenworth TruckTech+ Remote Diagnostics detects an engine fault code, the system automatically sends a notification to the fleet manager and a designated Kenworth dealer. The fleet manager can then determine whether the issue is small enough to fix later or serious enough to repair immediately. The dealer sees the same information and can prepare to provide service ahead of time. The service is particularly helpful for larger fleets as managers can view reports for each truck and filter them by make, model, chassis type, year, location, or severity.
