Kenworth Announces New Options For T270 & T370 Medium-Duty Trucks
Kenworth recently revealed a few new customization options for its medium-duty T270 and T370 trucks, including the ability to add roll-back flatbed bodywork to models with the 21,000-pound (9,525-kilogram) Kenworth AG210L single-axle, two-bag rear air suspension. There is also an option to upgrade to hood-mounted CX chrome mirrors; the company says the round, convex mirrors “provide an enhanced side view and help to eliminate blind corners.”
Safer With Bendix
Another optional feature is the latest iteration of Bendix’s side object detection system, which can now detect vehicles and other objects at distances of up to 20 feet (6.1 meters) in front of and behind the sensor. It can also filter out stationary objects when the vehicle is traveling at 20 mph (32 km/h) or faster.
