Peterbilt Model 567’s New UltraLoft Sleeper Ups The Ante For Comfort & Storage
The so-called workhorse of Peterbilt’s truck lineup, the Model 567, is now available with an UltraLoft Sleeper. The PACCAR-owned truck builder says the UltraLoft cab optimizes available space to deliver industry-leading storage and comfort. In addition to a more spacious sleep area, the new cab provides 8 feet (2.4 meters) of headroom and 70 cubic ft (2 cu m) of overall storage.
“The Most Exciting Year”
Peterbilt says UltraLoft provides the largest upper and lower bunk mattresses in the industry, as well as best-in-class headroom in both bunks. There’s also enough interior space to accommodate the largest in-cab microwave and a 32-inch flat-screen TV, Peterbilt says.
“The launch of the Model 567 UltraLoft is another example of Peterbilt’s drive to continually innovate our product line to deliver industry-leading comfort and performance for our customers and truck drivers alike,” says Peterbilt General Manager and PACCAR Vice President Jason Skoog. “There is no question that 2021 has been the most exciting year for Peterbilt and our customers, with more new product hitting the road than ever before.”
Ready To Serve
Model 567 is available with numerous PACCAR and Cummins engine options and PACCAR, Eaton, Eaton Fuller, and Allison transmissions. It has a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum cab, a durable Metton hood, and the model’s trademark pod-mounted headlamps. Interior updates include a class-leading 15-inch Digital Display with customizable user interface that provides access to built-in driver-assistance systems such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with auto resume, and highway departure detection.
