The Sakai R2H-4 Guardman® is a premium 15-ton class static three-wheel asphalt roller that combines high-density finishing compaction with active jobsite safety technology. Powered by a 73 HP Kubota diesel engine, this specialized machine features an integrated Guardman® safety assist package that uses precision 3D LiDAR sensors to monitor the rear operator blind spots. If a person or obstacle is detected, the system deploys multi-stage warnings and automatically engages the brakes to prevent a collision. Delivering an industry-leading 355 PLI of uniform static linear pressure across an 83-inch rolling width, its unique tricycle drum configuration is engineered to leave an ultra-smooth asphalt finish on thin lift overlays, bridge decks, and racetrack surfaces without the pushing, shoving, or aggregate cracking risks common to vibratory compactors.Specifications
