Bad Boy Mowers Planning Compact Tractor Line For 2021

    Posted On: March 10, 2020

Colorful lawn mower manufacturer Bad Boy Mowers has announced its plan to start selling sub-compact and compact tractors through an OEM contract with Kukje Machinery Company of South Korea. The small tractors will be sold alongside Bad Boy’s family of commercial and residential mowers, including zero-turn, walk-behind, and push models, at its nationwide dealerships beginning next year.

“Designed with commercial customers and property owners in mind, our new Bad Boy Tractors will deliver all the performance customers demand from their utility tractor in a compact, easy to use package,” says Bad Boy Mowers CEO Phil Pulley. The manufacturer, based in Batesville, Arkansas, has been in business for 18 years.

Kukje, owned by TYM (Tong Yang Moolsan), is better known to U.S. customers as the parent company of distributor Branson Tractors. Founded in 1968, Kukje manufactures tractors, combine harvesters, diesel engines, and other agricultural equipment. Bad Boy expects the partnership to provide economies of scale and ultimately benefit its customers by improving the company’s purchasing power, lowering its costs, and reducing its overhead.

    What We Know So Far

Details are scarce on the upcoming line of tractors, but they will be assembled in the U.S. and will range from 22 to 35 horsepower. Bad Boy will back them with a full 6-year powertrain warranty.

“From concept to creation, the new product line has been designed to meet the performance demands of our customers,” says Bad Boy Mowers Director of Marketing Lennie Foree. “As we always do, Bad Boy Mowers will offer the very best sub-compact and compact tractor available at the best value.”

    The Best Is Ahead

“We're bringing all our Bad Boy attitude to a great lineup of tractors that perfectly complements our tough, all-star commercial grade zero turn mowers through an exceptional dealer network,” says Foree. “Our patented innovations continue to set the standard for accessibility, comfort and quality. With this new product line and history as our guide, the best is well ahead of us.”
