Kubota Introduces New Flagship ZD1611 Zero-Turn & F3710 Front-Mounted Mowers

Kubota says its new ZD1611 replaces the ZD1511 as the flagship for its ZD Series of commercial zero-turn mowers, while the F3710 replaces the F3990 as the latest and greatest in the F Series of commercial front-mount mowers. The new F3710’s lifting capacity allows operators to equip Kubota attachments like a debris blower, rotary sweeper, and snowblower, and many others, to carry out a variety of farming, ranching, specialty crop, groundskeeping, and turf maintenance jobs.

“With the ZD1611 and F3710, we’re bringing two powerful mowers to the market for commercial operators to get more done this season,” says Kubota Senior Turf Product Manager Tom Vachal. “Both of these new mowers replace the top-of-the-line model in each series and operators are really going to appreciate the power, outstanding cutting performance, and reliability they provide, and what commercial cutters have come to expect from Kubota mowers.”

    ZD1611 Details

Kubota’s ZD1611 lineup includes three deck configurations. There’s a 72-inch (182-centimeter)-wide side-discharge ZD1611 and 60-in. (152-cm) or 72-in. decks for the rear discharge ZD1611. The new zero-turn mowers are all equipped with a 30.8-horsepower (23-kilowatt) diesel engine and a hydraulic deck lift. For all-day operator comfort, the ZD1611 has an air ride suspension seat with adjustable reclining and lumbar support. Operators can also charge their electronic devices while mowing, thanks to the 12-volt power outlet in the cup holder. Kubota equips a tie-down point on the front axle, making it easy to secure for transport on a trailer.

    F3710 Details

The F3710 front-mount mower is available with either a 60- or 72-in. side- or rear-discharge mowing deck that can tilt 90 degrees to simplify cleaning and maintenance. Kubota also improves maintenance access to the engine and power take-off (PTO) driveshaft, which operators can easily access by lifting the quick-release engine cover. The 36.9-HP (27.5 kW) engine includes a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. An LCD on the F3710 displays engine speed, remaining fuel, water temperature, and an hour meter to keep operators informed.
